About Me

I work in Website Quality Assurance for a CU Members Mortgage. I’m actually enjoying my job most days, which is definitely a pleasant change. When I’m not doing that, I do the fun stuff; I serve on the worship team at Every Nation, Tallahassee as the Band Leader and other various things, and I’ve just joined the Tallahassee Community Chorus. I make Excel spreadheets in my spare time. Just ’cause it’s fun. And yes, I realize that’s weird…

I’m just another girl who is trying to figure out what she wants to be when she grows up.  Most days, I get scared and really insecure. I set ridiculously high goals for myself and the folks around me. Usually, that’s a bad thing, but every now and then it pays off because it can make you accomplish more than you thought you were capable of. I can be a control freak, but I am slowly but surely learning when to back off. I want to get married and have kids someday, preferably soon, but am secretly terrified that I will not be a good wife or mother.

I hate to be late. I’m pretty good with schedules and budgets and I love to teach other people to master those areas of their lives. Actually, I love teaching pretty much anything to pretty much anybody. To that end, I’m considering going back to school for a degree in Music Educaion.

I am pretty open with both my struggles and successes because neither of them define me. I am a mess and a work in progress, but I know God loves me.

But perhaps the most important thing you need to know about me is that I am a passionate pursuer of God. If that’s the one thing I get right in life, it’ll be a great life.  That is truly all that matters. Everything else is just the details…

  3. I’m interested in having you teach my teenage son piano. (mainly chords and lead sheet type reading)
He has had a few years classical piano. His teacher said never let him quit because he has an ear for music – but we moved and it’s taken us a while to get settled again. Let me know if you are interested. Also – I don’t know if you would be interested in teaching music at Christ Classical School. I teach kindergarten there and we are losing our music teacher. (to a move) go to http://www.christclassical.com
Let me know about the piano! We go to ENT too.
